Our beloved Albert Rick Lawry was born on June 26, 1954 in Blair, South Carolina to Luck Lee Woodard and Izsac Seabrook. He also attended McCorey Liston High School in Blair, South Carolina.

Rick was a well-rounded teenager who loved to work; doing anything that you may ask of him. He enjoyed watching all types of sports; and would bet on some with his Uncles John and Jasper.

In 1989 Ricky met and married his wife Laverne and from this union they were blessed with two children. Ricky worked for Canal Jeans for 13 years.

Ricky was preceded in death by; his mother; Lucy, his father; Izsac, his aunts; Mammie, Jonnie Bell, Jean and Myrtle Ave Mae.

Ricky leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife; Laverne, his daughter; Erica and her children; Zoi, Khloe and Yassine all of Brooklyn, New York, his son; Leon Lawry of Brooklyn, New York and Khalik of Royal VA, his sister –in-law;Rosie Tapley, his brother-in-law; Morris Tapley, remembering some special people in his life; one best friend; Trotta Joe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
