Anthony Rouse was born on April 28, 1963, to Wille and Verlene Rouse in Brooklyn, New York. As the youngest of three children, Anthony brought joy and completion to their family.

Growing up in Brooklyn, Anthony attended P.S. 81 before moving onto Automotive High School, where his lifelong passion for cars began. This passion guided him to become a skilled mechanic by trade. For a time, Anthony also served his community as a New York City Traffic Agent and briefly made South Carolina his home before returning to his beloved Brooklyn.

Known as the neighborhood mechanic, Anthony could often be found working on his prize green car or generously helping neighbors with their troubled vehicles. His mechanical talents were matched only by his reliability and giving spirit. Friends and family knew that if they ever needed a ride, Anthony would be there without hesitation.

On March 19, 2025, Anthony peacefully transitioned to the kingdom of Heaven. He was preceded in death by his beloved father; Wille Rouse, his brother; Derek Rouse and his cherished son: Taurean Rouse.

He leaves behind his loving mother; Verlene Rouse, his brother; Virgil Rouse and a host of family and friend who will deeply miss his impact and presence.

Rest well, dear Anthony. Your journey on earth has ended, but your spirit lives in the hearts of those who loved you. To his mother, Verlene, brother, Virgil and all the family members and friends whose lives were touched by Anthony's presence, we send our deepest condolences and endless love. May you find comfort in cherished memories and strength in the support of one another during this difficult time. Though he is gone from our sight, Anthony will never be gone from our hearts.
