Berell Teena Ellis affectionately called " Honey Bee" died on 04/13/2023 at the age of 93 at home in Brooklyn, New York from natural causes.

Berell was born on 09/03/1929 to her parents Etta Withfield and George Ellis in Spring Garden, Jamaica West Indies. She is the third child of eight children and she is survived by 3 of her siblings.

At a young age she went to live with her aunt Edna in Portland, until the age of nineteen when she returned to the town of Lottery in St. James. Where she met and fell in love with George McFarlane. Their union produced 2 children Pixely and Pauline. Sadly George passed away and she had to move to Montego Bay to make a living as a cook and candy shop operator.

She had four additional children Beverly, Eleanor, Dwayne, Blonde. Berell lived in Jamaica until she retired in 2002 and moved to live with her daughter's Beverley and Blondie.

Berell was a vivacious woman who enjoyed taking care of the people she loved, she has 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her hobbies were sewing, embroidery and knitting.

She is fondly remembered by her loved ones and friends for her warm and loving demeanor.
