It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Oglesby, who passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024, in Mount Vernon, New York. Beverly was born on September 29, 1949, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Bonnie Oglesby and Clenter Oglesby.

Beverly was a beloved mother, aunt, sister, friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Tyrell Lamar Oglesby; her siblings, Patricia Oglesby and Kim Oglesby; her niece, Qiana Oglesby; her nephew, William Oglesby; her grand-nephew, Christian Phillips Oglesby; and the countless friends and loved ones that Beverly met over the years. She will also be missed by her loving cat, Chase.

Beverly was known for her sense of humor, her amazing singing talent, being a survivor of fourth-stage cancer, and her unwavering faith as a loyal warrior in God's army. She dedicated her life to doing the Lord's work, preaching the word of God, and welcoming new people to the service with her amazing welcome addresses. Beverly made sure that babies and young children had smiles on their faces and performed countless roles while serving under the late Overseer Dr. Mary Winston at the Upper Room Tabernacle of Deliverance Pentecostal Church.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the family, friends, and loved ones for their support and care. The Oglesby family will be forever grateful.

Beverly's warmth and spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
