We announce with heavy hearts the passing of Brother Ronald 42X Johnson Sr. AKA Brother Shaheed Muhammad who returned to his Creator on May 11, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, uncle, nephew, son, cousin, friend, father figure to many and a cherished member of our family and community.

Brother Ronald 42X Johnson Sr.  AKA Brother Shaheed Muhammad lived a life full of faith, generosity, and kindness. He touched the lives of many with his compassion and was always ready to lend a helping hand.  He joined the Nation of Islam January 1968. His devotion to Allah and his unwavering commitment to the principles of Islam were evident in his daily actions.

Brother Ronald 42X Johnson Sr.  AKA Brother Shaheed Muhammad is leaving behind his wife Mary Ward-Johnson, his son Ronald Johnson Jr., daughter Keisha Johnson, daughter Faremia Johnson(deceased) son David Ward, daughter Muslima Ward, stepdaughter Crystal Ward, daughter in law Chequila Smith, stepson Norman Ward, grandsons Isaac William, Jeremiah Fuentes, Jessie Johnson, Carlo Simon III, step grandsons , Brian Ward, Brandon Ward, Norman Ward Jr. granddaughters Shaniqua Smith, Sky-Asia Johnson, Keelilah Santiago, Chloe Jefferson, Faith Ford, great grandson Jeremiah Fuentes Jr. , many cousins, muslim community and friends.

Brother Ronald 42X Johnson Sr.  AKA Brother Shaheed Muhammad was many things he was a father, a husband, grandpa, uncle, cousin, son a handball pro, balloon man, mechanic when needed, a karate teacher, not to mention Brother Ronald 42X Johnson Sr.  AKA Brother Shaheed Muhammad a true believer of the muslim faith, F.O.I, an advisor and a beacon of light for so many.

We are wishing you a safe journey into your afterlife and know that you are watching over all of us daily. We will truly miss you and love you always. He will be joining his mother, father and siblings in the afterlife.
