Obituary

Calvin Joshua Jackson was born July 6th 1970 to Jennifer Pearl Haynes and Monroe Buck Jackson at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn NY. Calvin moved to the south with his grandmother, Rita Butler and attended Nash Elementary Alumni school in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He returned to his hometown in Brooklyn to continue his education at Erasmus High School where he studied computer science. Calvin completed a number of trades at Dudley vocational school in Manhattan.

Overall, he was a good person who loved to play and listen to music, and breakdancing even though he wasn't that good at it. Calvin was fond of carrying his big radio everywhere he went along with his homeboy dice. One time the guys from a local street in Flatbush named Tennis Court set cardboard down to break dance on. surprisingly, he did good that day and that made everyone from Ocean Avenue smile.

Calvin was not shy and always proclaimed to be the handsome brother.  And do not let me start about those video games. He is the reason why I'm not into it now because he just had to play Zelda all day burning up the electric bills lol.

Calvin is survived by his four children: Joshua, Sharletta, Vexsanna and Daniel, his mother Jennifer and three brothers Monroe, Eugene and Lawrence, and by his granddaughter Zy'Yay, many cousins, nephews and nieces and a host of other family members and friends.
