Carolyn Teresa Chatman was born on May 25 ^th , 1965 at Queens General Hospital in Jamaica, New York to the late Mattie Dunn and Milton Dunn. On March 31 ^st , 2021, Carolyn departed this world in St. John's Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York and is now in heavenly peace.

Carolyn attended the Queens Public School System. She was a Home Attendant for many years.

Carolyn affectionately known as "Risa" or "Reet" was a beautiful and amazing person, who always had the ability to make you laugh. She loved to cook, R&B music, getting dressed up and also telling jokes but, she was also a no nonsense person. "Reet" absolutely adored her son; Kevin and her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her son; Kevin Alford (Lexi), her father; Milton Dunn Sr., her two sisters; Brenda Chatman and Sharon Jordan, her two brothers; Edward Chatman and Milton Dunn Jr. (Charisma), two grandchildren; Kevin Jr. and Kha'Liya, three aunts; Zona Davis, Vera Chatman and Janet Parker, four uncles; Pelter Chatman, Joe Chatman, Mack Davis and Ronald Hooks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

"Reet" joins in Heaven: her mother; Mattie Dunn and her grandmother: Minnie Chatman; so we know "Reet" is in the arms of the angels.

"Reet" you will be forever loved and missed.
