Carolyn "Kaky" Hannah; daughter to the union of the late Calvin and Jennie Mae Hannah was born on September 19, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York. On June 20, 2021 God called her home in her residence surrounded by family, just as she would have wanted.

Carolyn was the eldest of seven children who grew up within a tight knit family in the Bedford- Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York culminating her formal education with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Kingsborough Community College in 1981.

As an acknowledgement of her dedication and hard work to the department she was promoted to Senior Police Administrative Aide in May of 1999. "Kaky" was immensely proud of her work and devoted almost 40 years of honorable service to the NYPD, with nearly half of that time with the 94 th PCT.

She was preceded in death by her: father; Calvin, her mother; Jennie Mae, and two sisters; Brenda and Savella Hannah.
