During retirement, he never stopped painting. Cecil took great pride in decorating his home with creative designs because of his love for painting.
Cecil was a loving protector of his family! Ask his youngest sister, Lenora, and she will tell you that Cecil was "her boy!" He shared a lot of good times and stories with family. He loved being a grandfather and had a special bond with all of this grandchildren. Cecil was an avid fan of basketball, golf and tennis. He enjoyed reading, and staying up to date in all things politics. He also enjoyed Calypso and Reggae music, dancing with family and friends. His favorite song was "My Way," by Frank Sinatra.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Elitha Huyghue; son, Kevin; brothers, Malcolm Matthew, Leon, Lenny, and Leary.
Cecil leaves many loved ones behind: his life partner: Cynthia, his children: Avion, Yeisan, Keisha, Rey, and Michael, his grandchildren: Brittney, Kathleen, Brendon, Bria, Michael, Jr. (Nicknamed "Mikey"), Anthony, Ayden, and Zane, siblings: Lennox, Leonard, Lenora, Leroy, Cherie (Nicknamed "Merci"), son-in-law: Vladimir, stepchildren: Dawn, Janice, Lystra, Cassisus, and Kirlice. He also leaves behind many extended sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends to include, Kathleen.
Cecil will be sorely missed. May God bless him abundantly and may he rest in Peace.
