David R. Sharpton Son of the late Carolyn L. Sharpton, and David Alexander was Born on May 13th, 1969, in Fort Greene Brooklyn, New York. David was raised in Brooklyn along with his siblings by his late Grandmother Evelyn Taylor. He attended the NYC Public School system and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School.

Unbeknownst to many David had a passion for cooking and worked as a cook at Applebee's for a few years, then later as a Barber which he was mostly known for. David was nicknamed "What it do" by those that knew him as that phrase was his greeting to many, he would encounter in his daily going and coming. He was also known as Dee, and Debo. He loved to dress to impress, dance, party, and had a great sense of humor. Though sometimes distant, David loved his children, family, and friends greatly.

David transitioned on March 17th, 2024, to his final home. He is predeceased by his late Mother Carolyn L. Sharpton, Father David Alexander, Grandmother Evelyn Taylor, Brother Shamaine G. Sharpton, and the love of his life, and mother of his son's, Joyce Ealey.

He is survived by his Daughter Trinity D. Sharpton, and her mother Gail Vargas, his sons David R. Sharpton Jr., Darrell A. Sharpton, his two grandsons Davion, and Darian Sharpton, his Brothers Andre R. Sharpton, Kevin Sharpton, Sister Julie C.
