Douglas E. Brown Sr. was born on May 7 ^th 1938 to the late Martha Mary Kuashie in Saint Vincent, W.I.

Douglas received his education in Saint Vincent and later migrated to the United States to begin his life. He worked for the International Paper Company for over 40 years where he worked as a Sliterman until he retired.

Douglas met and married Ina Warner and from this union they were blessed with two sons; Douglas Jr. and Kenneth Brown. Douglas enjoyed playing music, watching baseball and cricket spending time with his family and friends and just having a good time. Douglas was always known to have two cars; he drove his Chevy to get around and the other his Buick Deuce and a Quarter for family outings. Douglas didn't cook much but he loved to eat and when he married Ina his plate was filled with food.

Douglas leaves to cherish his loving memories: Ina Brown, his sons; Douglas Jr. and Kenneth, one daughter; Yvonne, one stepdaughter; Carolyn, one stepson; Vernon, his grandchildren; Daniel, Douglas III, Autumn, Tyshana, Karen, Savannah and Kenneth Jr., several great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
