A Time to be Born:

Drucilla Inez Davis was one of eleven children. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 18, 1941 to the late Elijah and Sarah Hargett.

A Time to Love:

After graduating from high school she met and married Haywood Lee Davis- Scrivens and from this union they were blessed with three children; the late Haywood Lee Davis Jr., Dianne Marie Davis and Dawn Davis-Allen.

A Time to Serve:

Inez as she was affectionately called loved and worked for the Human Resources Administration for 29 years.

A Time to Laugh:

Anyone who knew her knew that she was serious about playing spades, her numbers and going to Atlantic City. She spoke her mind and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

A Time to Remember:

Inez is loved and remembered by her two daughters; Dianne and Dawn, her son-in-law; David Allen Sr., eight grandchildren; Marie, Darkim, Dawane, Dominique, Cedric, David Jr., Monica and Iesha, fifteen great grandchildren that called her Grandma #1, one great great grandchild who also called her Grandma #1, two loving sisters; Joanne Cynthia Hargett and Rhonda Amena Hagan, two God daughters; Vanessa Lacks and Tonya Marion, her devoted friends; Thomasina Bonaparte, Irene Scrivens and Louise McLaurin and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and grand pet; Dash.
