On Sunday, August 22, 2021, God smiled on Felicia Barnett Hairston, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who was called to her eternal rest. Felicia was born to Teresa Barnett and the late Robert S. McConnell on July 5, 1959, in Fairfield County, SC. In 1962 she became the daughter of John Barnett.

Felicia attended Public School 282 and went to Sarah J. Hale High School, finishing the 11th grade. She didn't participate in college.

In 1978 she gave birth to a daughter Risha R. Barnett, and in 1985, she gave birth to her late son Christopher T. Brown. In 2008 Felicia married the late Wayne Hairston.

Felicia leaves to cherish her beloved daughter Risha, late son Christoper, stepson Wayne Jr. Mother, Teresa Barnett, and Father John Barnett. Late sister; Velvetina, brothers; John, and Gonzales, stepbrother; Paul, and stepsisters; Paula, Sherida. Nieces; Tasha, Keyonna, and Quanasia, great-nephew; Khalid, and a host of family and friends.
