Frederick D. "Fred" Pinckney, age 59, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York.  He was born May 26, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York, to William "Billy" and Maxine (Gunn) Pinckney.  Fred was a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School in Flatbush, New York.  His parents and sister, Sonya, preceded Fred in death.  Fred is survived by his sister, Michelle Booker; brother, Michael Davis (Jackie); and many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The impact of severe injuries that Fred sustained as a young man did not dampen the kind and hopeful spirit that Fred always had. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Though he is absent from this world, our belief is that Fred is present with our Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
