Obituary

Garret Everett departed this earth quietly in his sleep on January 27, 2022

He was born on January 7, 1964, to the late Hannah Mae and Thomas Everett. He is proceeded in death by his four siblings Thomas( Butch) Everett, Robert (Bobby) Everett, Richard (Ricky) Everett, and Anthony (Tony) Everett.

Garret attended Junior High School and High School in the New York City public school system before attending NYC College of Technology where he studied fine arts and theory, amongst other things.

Garret established his religious foundation early in life and became known amongst his peers in the Black Hebrew Nation as Chaarab Gaba. Gaba was a man of the people and could always find himself surrounded by colleagues, friends, and family. He was a quiet, gentle, intelligent man that used his intellectual mind to take on many challenges head-on. Be it in real estate, art, religion, or everyday life.

Garret's love for drawing and painting was well known among his peers. It sparked a flame in his heart so much so that even in his doodling he could create masterpieces that would challenge some of the best.

Garret was a beacon of hope to the weary and never one to turn anyone away. Garret was a man of God and never too troubled to lose faith. He was a priest and a minister that studied under the teachings of High Priest Yahshiah of The Black Hebrew Nation.

Garret leaves to cherish his memory 4 siblings:  Ronald Everett, Cheryl Everett, Eddie Everett, and Patricia Adamu, one sister-in-law Patricia Everett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
