Gerald Fletcher was born on June 7, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Eldress Dorothy Fletcher, he was the ninth child of ten children born of that union. On March 4, 2024, the Lord called him home.

Gerald was baptized at an early age by late Bishop William Johnson of St. Paul Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Gerald attended the New York City public school system, Gerald worked various construction jobs throughout his life. Gerald was affectionately known as Buck and G-Man, he loved a good laugh and to joke around.

Gerald united with Christ Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Reverend Dr. David L. Kelley, he was a faithful member and served for years as a faithful door keeper, he loved singing with the gospel choir, male chorus, and the voices of fellowship on annual days, he also served on the security ministry, and the Imani men's ministry. In 2014 he was honored as the Man of the Year by the Imani men's ministry.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents William and Dorothy Fletcher, 2 brothers William Jr, and Calvin, 5 sisters Reginald, Joanne, Laurene, Linda, and Dorothy.

Gerald leaves to cherish memory 2 daughters Shaneen Kelty (James) and Keisha Allen (Sheldon) of Albany NY, 1 son Jerome Antley of Brooklyn, NY, 16 grandchildren, (Jackie, Jasmine, Joyal, Josslyn, Shatiek, Sheldon, Tiesha, Joseph, Felicia, Destiny, Amy, Antwann, Tanesha, Aleghasie, Tajmere, Jahmere), and 19 great grandchildren, sister Joyce Washington, brother James Fletcher, 2 uncles Frankie Spicer and Bobby Fletcher. His closet and dearest friend and brother of over 50 plus years Riley Mitchell "Roc", and his friend and brother in Christ Marvin Lyerly "Born". A host of nieces, nephews, great, and great great, and great, great great nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends.
