Obituary

Herman Antley Jr, the son of Herman Antley and Carol Best, was born on April 8, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Franklin. K. Lane High School.

Herman (Fats, as he is called by many) was known as a very hard worker. He worked as a Supervisor for Greystar in Brooklyn.  He worked as a doorman for various fine establishments and was a security guard at many locations. He enjoyed and took pride in working as a doorman, and always talked about the nice gifts he would receive around the holidays from the clients. Herman was a hard-working man and took value in each day he worked. He rarely took time off from work and if he did, we knew it was for good reason. Herman continued to work up until his last day on this earth, which showed his work ethic.

Herman, although a hard worker. He loved his family even more. He always made sure he made himself available to share important times with those that he loved. Herman has many friends from childhood that continued to stay in his life due to the love he gives back to others. He has two beautiful daughters that were the light of his life and brought joy to him. Diamonique Antley and Daniel Antley are the lineage to a great man named Herman. He will continue to live on through them.

He was a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Herman was filled with passion, filled with an unquenchable desire to understand the intricate workings of the world.

On May 3, 2024 Herman was called Home to rest.
