Hildegarde Holmon-Coleman aka Mutty 59 of Brooklyn, New York passed on to be with the Lord Friday, September 23, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Bellevue Hospital in New York with her sister; Mary, daughter; Tiara and her youngest niece; Courtney by her side.

She was born on October 15, 1962 in Kings County Hospital to Samuel and Hildegard Holmon.

Mutty as she preferred and insisted to be called went to FDR High School. Mutty put her education on hold to help raise her three nephews; Charles Jr., Jason, Randy and her four nieces; Samantha, Gabrielle, Nikie and Krystal. She also took care of her sick mother; Hildegard Holmon.

Although she may not have finished high school she had big dreams. She was excellent in math, reading and penmanship. She loved to draw, read and write poetry. She was a simple person with a heart of gold. She would give her last dollar if someone needed it.

If any family member or friend needed a place to stay her door was always open.

Mutty leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband; Jeffrey Coleman, her daughter; Tiara Coleman, her older sister and brother; Mary McLean and Emanuel Holmon and a host of great nieces and nephews, whom she help raise.
