Jamelle R
Mc Clarin
Jul 13, 1974 — Apr 25, 2021
Far Rockaway
Jamelle R. McClarin was born to James W. McClarin and the late Annie Mae McClarin in King County Hospital, Brooklyn NY on July 13, 1974. Jamelle was the last child of that union out of seven. Jamelle depart unexpectedly on April 25, 2021.
Jamelle grew up in Brooklyn and went to Canarsie High School where he graduated. Jamel was known as Ding by his family and to his friends Tupac. Every time you saw Jamelle, he had a smile on his face, and was known to a lot of people in East New York, matter of fact all over. Jamelle was not often seen by the family but when he was it was obvious he was missed and well loved. Jamelle liked to be on his own with no one telling him what to do. When he would come to my (Joanne's) houses one of his favored songs was by Gwen Guthrie, Nothing Going On But The Rent, after a time I use to hide it when he come over because he use to play it over and over just like his Dad use to do when he was younger and he had a favorite song.
Jamelle was preceded in death by his mother Annie Mae McClarin and two brothers Samuel K McClarin and Joseph C McClarin.
Jamelle leaves behind to mourn his passing his daughter Kanesha McClarin (2 grandsons), his father James McClarin (Cynthia) his siblings Robert (Jan), James Jr. (Nadine) Joanne, Gladys, Samantha, Kelly and Justin. Two sister-in-laws Donna (Sam) and Tina (Joseph). Two Aunts, Sarah Ann Simpkins and Grace Carter, 27 nieces and nephews and a host of grand and great grand nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Also his longtime friend Alice Gowan. Jamelle will be truly missed.
