Jeffrey Lynn Turner transitioned on Monday February 13 ^th 2023.

Jeffery was born to the late Leon and Thelma Turner in Danville, IL on November 4 ^th , 1957 and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was one of 4 children.

He completed his education at Franklin D Roosevelt High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Military Marine Corps from 1977 – 1980 with an honorable discharge.

Jeffrey met Elouise and later married. Through this union they were blessed with two children Tarika and Jamell. Jeffrey worked many years for NYCTA and later became employed at Albany Medical Center where he eventually retired. Jeffrey (J.T) loved jazz music, and all NYC sports teams. He also loved reading, current events and holding intellectual conversations. He was also very humorous.

Cherishing his memories are Elouise, his children; Tarika and Jamell. His grandson; Jamir (Jam Jam). His siblings: Brian (Jen), Deborah (Joseph) and Reginald preceded in death and a host of brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

We love you Jeff forever and a day but God loves you best so he took you home for eternal rest.  He does promise that one day, everyone who has a relationship with Him will spend eternity in His presence, where suffering and sorrow will be gone forever.
