Joerene Davis was born in Manhattan, New York on March 30th, 1950 to Joseph Page and Clara Walters.

Joerene grew up and went to school in Brooklyn, New York where she graduated High School and later continued her education at a Technical School for Dental Assisting. After completing her studies Joerene was employed as a Dental Assistant at Interfaith Medical Center, where she stayed for over ten years. Joerene was also a member and a delegate for Local 1199. Joerene received countless honors and awards as an employee at Interfaith Medical Center.

In Brooklyn, New York is where she met and married Gaylord Davis on April 9, 1983 at the Municipal Building.

Joerene is preceded in death by her father; Joseph page, her mother; Clara Walters, her grandmother; Irene Walters, one brother; Joseph T. Page, one sister; Mary page-Gresham and one son; Charles Johnson.

Joerene leaves to cherish her loving memories; her husband; Gaylord Davis, for children; Cynthia Carson, Archie Winters, Oasia Davis and Israel Hough, five brothers; Herbert, Jeffery, Samuel, Anthony and Jamel, four sisters; Carol, Mather, Niecy and Menyon, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and numerous friends.
