Joseph L. Ward Jr. was born to Joseph and Ella Marion Ward on January 29, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up tall and strong, intimidating to some and serious to others, but to everyone who truly knew him, he was a great man with the biggest heart.

Joseph was a protector, provider, and worked hard for his family. He prided himself on being there for those he loved. He led by example and set the standard of what it meant to be a father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, God father and friend.

During his leisure time, he enjoyed playing video games, chess with friends and good movies. He especially loved the holidays when his family cooked his favorite foods.

Joseph is survived by his daughters Keri and Fallon Moore, his sisters: Lynnda Washington, Florine Kizzie, Berlean Ward, and Jamezena Ward. He is also remembered by the rest of his loved ones including his nieces, nephews', God children, uncles, cousins, and friends.

"Unable to die are the loved. For love is immortality." Although he will be missed, the people that love him will keep him alive in their hearts.

God brought a good brother back home.
