Josette Maria Mackie was delivered into this world at 1383 Dean Street Brooklyn, New York, known as "Aunty Pat's House", on April 29 ^th , 1947.  She was the oldest out of four; Josette, James, Michael and Fredrick, survived by one; Fredrick Charles Ferguson.

Josette was educated in Brooklyn, New York where she graduated from Wingate High School. Josette continued her education at Kingsborough Community College achieving her degree in Sociality. She went on to work as a substance abuse counselor at the adult care facility.

Josette was a motivator that inspired all to stay on top of things. She was a collector of plants and her green thumb kept and made them come to life and grow beautifully. She was also a great cook and a creative knitter and crocheter with a heart of gold.

Josette Mackie lost her daughter; Rebecca Mackie on June 28 ^th , 2018.

Josette leaves to cherish her loving memories: three sons; Antonio, Floyd and Giovanni, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Josette will surely be missed by all that knew her!!!
