Obituary

Mr.  Kato E. Jenkins Jr. was born from the marriage of Kato E. Jenkins Sr.  and Jeanette Wells on September 7, 1968, at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.  He was 1 of several children born of this union.

As an adult, he had a passion for cooking and participating at family barbecues. Kato was beloved and favored by many within his community.

Kato Jenkins was the Co-Founder of Under The Roof, LLC., a corporation founded in 2009 that provides holistic social services to underserved communities including the homeless, disabled veterans, prisoners, as well as police officers and firefighters.

After serving sixteen years in prison, he was determined to follow in his late father, Mr. Kato E. Jenkins, Sr's footsteps as an activist by helping in underserved and marginalized communities. Not only was Kato a successful businessman but also a caring community leader, who was continuously committed to serving people in need with the goal of enhancing their quality of life.  To date, Mr. Kato has received many awards for his services, and recently been appointed Chief of National ADA Advocates of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania.

Kato has developed a rapport with and support for local politicians who are committed to empowering their communities, as well as partnered with Corporations dedicated to contributing to the distribution of quality service in their designated territories.

Kato was the community's greatest advocate, always bringing leaders together to serve and uplift those in need. His famous mantra, "It's about relationships," exemplified his belief in the power of connection and collaboration. His legacy will continue to inspire and remind us of the impact that true passion and dedication can achieve.

His passing, was at the age 56 on November 29, 2024, East Stroudsburg, PA.

Kato leaves behind his loving wife of 7 years Mrs. Tina Jenkins, 4 daughters, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 6 brothers, several nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

"Kato helped me to grow my Stem Cell business with his connections.  I was on FOX News treating a dying COVID patient . Kato promised me to help newly approved FDA trial for treating Diabetic patients with stem cells.

Don't cry for me

Don't cry for me, I'm fine.

I want you all to know. I made peace just in time.

Jesus is real as you can see.

He allowed me to come home for Thanksgiving to be with my family.

I said my goodbyes, but you were stuck in your ways.

"Have peace within yourself, it's for the latter days.

All is well, and as I Say,

I'm definitely good!  I will see you someday.

I'm going to see if I could grill or barbecue,

if that's even possible, cause it's what I do.

I made it in.

Don't worry about me.

All you guys need to follow me.

I followed!

I'm free from anything that bothered me

So rest in peace and smile for me.

I did what I wanted and surely left a legacy.
