Kenneth
Robinson
Apr 18, 1971 — Oct 25, 2021
Brooklyn
Kenneth Robinson was born in Kings County, Brooklyn N.Y on April 28th 1971 to Mattie Ifill. Although Kenneth was an only child he was blessed to have one God sister by the name of Tawanda Martin. Kenneth Robinson was called home on October 25th 2021 at the tender age of 50.
Kenneth attended William H Maxwell high school. He enjoyed playing sports such as Football until he had a leg injury. He was born with the name Kenneth but went by many names such as Kenny, Kendu, and O.G. growing up He made his own rules and lived life the way he wanted. Kenneth wasn't your ordinary guy he said how he felt as real as he could say it. "We all know his mouth" But his intentions were pure and from the heart.
The love Kenneth had for his mother was truly unconditional. She was his true best friend, Roll Dog and Party Buddy. (No one played with her baby). He and his mother's bond was inseparable. Kenneth never was alone; he had eight aunts and two uncles that gave him a host of cousins that he was raised with from childhood. Kenneth and his cousins stuck together. They enjoyed playing games like skully cards and most of all roller skating together. He was even Blessed to have his 1st cousin Regina Ashby Take care of him in his Time of Need. Not only did Kenneth enjoy sports. He had a love for dogs living in Castle Hill with his Family. Everyone knew if you saw "Kendu" you saw his dog Thunder.
Kenneth, known as Kenny to his friends, was an amazing friend. From growing up as a kid in Bush wick projects to Living on St John. He made sure his door was open just in case someone needed a helping hand. He and his friends loved to party, joke around and be the cool boys on the block. He believed in loyalty and stood on it. He was well respected and loved by so many people.
Kenneth enjoyed being a father so much disciplining his own children wasn't enough he disciplined others he wasn't the father or big cousin to play with. He spoke very clearly and direct to any child because he was big on "A child staying in a child place". As he would say. The love he shared for his 2 grandchildren and only godson was special. If you needed him for help with any child his arms were always open. Kenneth was a loving, strict, understanding father that would proudly tell the world he was a father he kept no hidden secret from them. He took pride in his role from working hard at western beef for over 10 years until he was no longer able to work due to his Leg injury getting worse. Kenneth still Stood tall and became the best at home dad with his children.
Kenneth had a bright smile that brightened up any room. He had a wonderful sense of humor to go with it, he cracked jokes on anyone that came in the room. His jokes were always on point; it was natural to him. He enjoyed karate flicks, watching basketball, listening to Music and most of all he didn't miss "Monday night raw" he had a big heart with a vibrant soul. And touch many of people who were able to be a part of his life.
He was preceded in Death by his mother; Matti Infill and two aunts; Joann Simmons, Tammy Robinson.
