Latarsha Lavan, left us and was called home to Heaven on March 19, 2021.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 18, 1977 to her Mother Sharon Edwards and her Father Herman Lavan. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and later moved to the Bronx as a teenager and went to Washington Irving High School in Manhattan, NY.

Latarsha Lavan was raised to be a very family oriented and strong minded woman.  She was known to speak her mind and to express her views on many issues all in a good way. She loved to be the one to get a party started. She kept a peaceful spirit and was fun to laugh with, also known to make you laugh to cheer you up.

She has and is survived by her 9 children;  Tanaisa, Ramere, Chenise, Tysean, Lamar , Nasir, King, Zion and David., her sister; Plum and brothers; Kwame and Jabari.

Her joyful spirit and beautiful smile will be missed by all that have known her.
