Learie Lancelot Morren, affectionately known as "Donkey," was a devoted, hardworking, and endlessly kind-hearted soul who always put others before himself. Born in the vibrant and culturally rich land of Trinidad and Tobago, Learie carried the warmth and liveliness of his homeland with him when he moved to New York City, where he built a life filled with love and laughter.
Learie had a larger-than-life personality and a heart full of generosity. His playful humor and caring spirit created a sense of ease and joy wherever he went. Known for his culinary skills and infectious laughter, being around him meant full hearts, hearty laughs, and happy, satisfied bellies. His remarkable talents as a handyman made him the go-to problem solver for his community, earning him the admiration and gratitude of many.
Learie leaves behind a loving legacy in his four children: Lynette Morren, Travis Morren, Elijah Morren, and Kyle Morren; his cherished grandchild, Indigo Yvette Trygar; his devoted sisters, Jacklyn and Judy Morren; and his beloved brothers, Winston, Cletus, and Earl Morren.
