Obituary

Marianne Hart, the daughter of the late Emmer L. Rapheal and Swen Brailey, was born on April 26, 1948 in Hartsville, South Carolina.

Marianne resided in Brooklyn, New York. Marianne attended public school; The Great expectations in the Bronx, New York, Junior High School in lower Manhattan and she went on to graduate from Seward Park High School in New York.

Marianne was employed by TIAA as a manager, a position she kept for over 35 years.

Marianne loved to cook. She would make cooking look so easy. Her food was appetizing and our favorite dish from her was her magic cookies which we would hide from each other. Boy did she love to walk, she would walk from Brooklyn to New Jersey if she could. But what she loved the most was helping and taking care of others. She would put others before herself. She was there to give any and everything but best believe she was going to get all your information and your business. She would talk about it for a while blinking her eyes, so you better come straight. Marianne was tough but she loved hard.

Our sister received her wings on March 30 th , 2022.

Marianne leaves to cherish her loving memories: four brothers; Robert Brailey, Johnny Brailey, Nathean Hart and Sidney Hart, three sisters; Brendia Kahn, Nola Albitton and Aiyisha Rapheal and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
