Minerva Rosario Ayala was the first born of two to the late Fransico Perez and Maria Ayala Cruz. Minerva Rosario Ayala was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 21, 1941, but she always said she was from Arecibo, Puerto Rico because her beloved extended family came from there.

Minerva came to this country with her mother (Maria) in 1943, where she lived and went to school in Manhattan, New York. Minerva married and later moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1962.

Minerva leaves to cherish her loving memories; two daughters; Betty and Yvette, two grandchildren; Andre and Edgar, many great grandchildren, some great great grandchildren, one sister; Judy, one beloved brother-in-law; Angel Montes back in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, other cousins and family members in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and her beloved cousins in Massachusetts; Dora, Alma, David, Jermayne, Anaya, Jaheim Josiah and Luis.

Minerva would like to thank all her friends and family that she loved so much for making a difference in her life.
