Nathan Y.
Hudson
Dec 15, 1955 — Jun 24, 2023
Brooklyn
Nathan Yubesun Hudson was the eldest brother of four siblings: Vera, Nadine and Dwayne. Born December 15, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York to Virginia and Nathaniel Hudson.
Nathan was dearly loved and cherished by his siblings. He was like a son you didn't want. Whenever he called we went to bring him; money, food fried chicken and Chinese food, clothes, cigarettes and drinks. Nathan loved watching TV, listening to music, playing tapes, videos, DVD's with Bruce Lee, a Karate expert. Nathan trained in Ju-Jit-Su under his favorite cousin; Pastor; Bryant Hudson, earning him a black belt.
Nathan was gifted at art, portraits, sculptures and making things. Nathan was a good cook and while flipping juicy chili cheeseburger and chili Subrett hotdogs in Nadine and Abe's yard. He was a master at his craft and with people and especially women he could smooth talk them into buying a burger, soda, sweet potato pie, carrot cake and banana bread. He was a salesman. Nathan was Nathaniel Hudson's child so he knew how to paint, do carpentry work, cook, talk to people and go to his family church; Hudson Temple.
Nathan graduated from Boys High School and attended Brooklyn College and served in the United States Marine Corps briefly before marrying Heather Boone. From this union they were blessed with one son; Nathan Casey Hudson. Nathan would leave where he was stationed to see his family in the Bronx.
Nathan worked many jobs; NYC Sanitation, US Postal Service, Salesman, Security Guard and at NYC Department of Social Services and too many more to mention. He went to work happy with a cigarette in his hand and off he went listening to his Walkman.
Nathan leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife; Heather Hudson, his Son Nathan Casey Hudson, his granddaughter; Elise, two sisters, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
