Olivia Jones was born on August 7, 1942, to Hamp Jones and Easter Jones in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Olivia was educated in the South Carolina Public School System. Olivia later migrated to New York City where she worked as a domestic engineer for over 30 years. Olivia was blessed to have two sons: Alfonza Jones and Reginald Jones. Olivia was affectionately known as "OJ" by family and friends.

Olivia enjoyed life. She was and excellent cook and loved to share her cooking, but she didn't like you stay around too long. Olivia accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, and she became a member of the Missionary Board at Crossover Baptist Church.

Olivia was preceded in death by her mother Easter Jones, her father, Hamp Jones, and 15 siblings.

Olivia leaves to cherish her loving memories; her two sons; Alfonza and Reginald Jones, one daughter-in-law; Celette McMillian Jones, one sister; Margaret Jones Gillespie and a host of other family members and friends.
