Preston Foreman was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 15, 1945 the only child of the late Mary and Andrew Jones.  Preston departed this life in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Preston was educated in the New York City Public School System, graduating from William E. Grady High School and later from Kingsborough Community College with an Associate's Degree in Health Science. After completing his education Preston went on to serve his country in the United States Army as an SP4. Preston served for over four years, receiving an honorable discharge.

Preston met and married the love of his life; Lula Dupree and from this union they were blessed with five children: Yolanda Thomas, Latisha Foreman, Preston Foreman Jr., Roshaw Foreman and Lashana Foreman Dixon.

Preston worked at the NYC Department of Sanitation for numerous years, and he also worked as a security officer at St Mary's Hospital.

Preston was a high school athlete who played on many sports teams.  Preston was a very loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, working out and pumping iron after work with his friends and joking with his family and friends. Preston was a protector, provider, mentor, friend, a in house comedian with much love and companionship.

Preston was preceded in death by his two aunts; Alice Anderson and Phyllis Foreman.

Preston leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted wife; Lula Foreman, his children; Yolanda, Latisha, Preston Jr., Roshaw and Lashana, his grandchildren; Tahsheam Crawford, Quanshawn Foreman, Avion Foreman, Destiny Foreman, Apollonia Callender, Dontrelle Callender, Candice Foreman, and Preston Foreman the 3rd, and a host of other family members and friends.
