Vincent Erving Jones was born on August 20, 1963 In Brooklyn New York. He was one of 10 children born to (the late) Carl Albert Jones Sr And (the late) Aline Marie Jones. Vincent was the youngest son of the boys.
Vincent was always a child that loved school and was always the top of the class from grade school up until he completed his education at Brooklyn Technical High School. Vincent was extremely athletic taking part in sports such as basketball, football and especially handball. Vincent worked from a very early age mastering occupations from all avenues. He worked as a bouncer at Cellars Nightclub in his 20's before moving on to an extensive career in construction. He eventually threw his hat in the ring of toll booth operation, HPD housing inspector and Fiber optics installation before becoming a foreman at his company and finally retiring in 2020.
In 1985 at the age of 22, Vincent met his first wife Denise Whiting and began his journey as an outstanding daily man with her and her daughter Tonia Renee Whiting Their relationship spanned over a decade and produced his greatest joy in life becoming a father to His Daughter Vinetta Jones on May 29, 1989. The relationship and bond shared by Vincent and Vinetta was unmatched. They spent every single day of her childhood together and remained extremely close into her adulthood. Vincent is described by his daughter as "Her very Best Friend". Vincent was always a very dedicated father and even more dedicated grandfather to Gianna and Jeremiah Valentin whom he welcomed in March of 2013 and June of 2014. Vincent met his soulmate Evett Granger-Jones on February 17, 2000 and soon after combined their blended family to include her two sons Yomen Reinhardt and Braheme Granger. The two love birds enjoyed a long loving life together filled with travel dancing and family time together.
