William Thompson was born to the late John Boyd Thompson and Sarah Adella Blackwell in Baltimore, Maryland on January 28, 1929.

William was educated in Baltimore, Maryland and after completing his education he went on to join the United States Army.

William loved to work on cars and fix everything. He also enjoyed driving to New Jersey and Maryland. William enjoyed cooking and was employed as a Chef.

William leaves to cherish his loving memories; three daughters; Linda Boykins, Michelle Boykins and Yolanda Boykins, one son; James Thompson, three sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and numerous friends.
