Willie James McBride was born on September 15, 1955 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late Annie Louise McBride.

Willie was educated in the Buena Vista School System.

Willie worked for the NYPD as a Traffic Agent until he started his own one man with a van business, which he worked until his health caused him to retire early in life.

Willie was preceded in death by his brother; Johnnie McBride and his youngest son; Keith Crews.

Willie leaves to mourn; one son; Willie Crews, one sister; Emma P. Jones, three nieces; LaShana T. Merrit and Anisha C. Jones of America, Georgia and Shondrea S. Henderson of Columbus, Georgia, one auntie; Lillian McBride of Delaware, one devoted cousin; Eugene Pearson McBride and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Willie also leaves to mourn his girlfriend; Izobella Ovagimijam and his best friend; Lorenzo Al Dias.
